Hie Antonio We have met before, at HIFA 2008/9 not too sure now. I was covering your show and I did a great review of it. I love music and especially acoustic and true music flavours that you always bring out when you play. I followed you here coz I mis the music and before this I was busy sampling the albums in the discography. I play the guitar as well and I want to become really good one day. I hope you could teach me how you do those tricks of yours on stage. I would love of you to send me a cd of you but that would eat your way of living, imagine how many people ask you that. As a matter of fact I would love of you, if you can to help me with an old or unused guitar of yours that you no longer use. It would be a blessing on my life. I have been wanting to buy one but ever since I had a baby, she's been taking most of my finances. God has done wonders in your life and I believe He made out that plan for you, to entertain and relieve those that are in pain through your music and jokes on stage. Say hie to your band there are amazing too. yours truly a fan Joe

I have only been able to hear one performance from you, and that was on a DVD that came with the Guitarist magazine. You are very unique in your style. I have never seen someone that made the guitar bend and move in that way before. It was very wonderful to see a fellow guitarist doing something very different. I have tried to mimick a few of your percussive elements into my own playing. Some have come through correctly, others are not so good. Just wanting to leave you my website info to come and sign my guestbook. frumsapap.webs.com

Little did I know that on a bank holiday Sunday in Smollensky's that we would meet an extraordinary musician who would prove to be a warm, charming and caring human being. After decades of watching and listening to all the jazz greats, many of which lived tortured lives and could only feel sorry for themselves, here is a man who thinks beyond music and fans, as only means of paying his mortgage. We have 'known' Antonio for at least a decade and after not seeing him for 2 years we got a warm welcome from him at his concert at 'The Bedford' in Balham last Tuesday. It felt that he was genuinely pleased to see us and moved other fans aside to talk and take pictures with us after the concert. ...............and by the way, the concert..............just superb, like good wine, he is getting better with age Thank you, Antonio

I saw Antonio Forcione in Edinburgh over the summer and was completely bowled over! The man has such a wonderful technique. One minute he is hammering a string within an inch of breaking, the next he is caressing it in a really subtle way. He is a great performer and full of humour too! I met him after the show when he was signing CDs. I told him how impressed I was and said that he has had mentions in the Guitarist magazine. He told me that he didn't get time to read it. To which I replied that he ought to as it was full of good tips! That got a laugh! Anyway, I was so inspired by his playing that I went out on Saturday and bought a Yamaha APX 500 electro acoustic and a Marshall AS50D acoustic amp. I have been in Happy Land ever since. A great combination of a really good guitar, ( I tried the APX 700 and the 900 and in my opinion the 500 had the best bright and sparkly tone) and the Marshall amp, which is superb! A touch of reverb and chorus and I am away with the fairies!...and the dwarves and the elves and the spirits of the woodlands.

Hi Antonio It's a year since Simon and I came to see you last and I'm desparately in need of a fix so we're coming to hear you play at Coombe Lodge on Sunday. Here's hoping the weather holds out for us all. Look out for the big green wheelchair and beard (his, not mine!). Best wishes to Adriano, Jenny and Nathan. Love, Judy

Message: Dear Antonio, I just wanted to say how wonderful your quartet were on Sunday 6th July at Pizza Express. Our table was just by the stage and we so enjoyed the depth and fun with which you played together - perfect for an anniversary! The music is delightful, intricate and achingly beautiful. The quartet is certainly greater than the sum of it's parts - and you are all so sensitive and passionate - so that really is saying something! My compliments to Adriano for such subtlety and funkiness. As a percussionist I love to hear players with such a unique 'voice' - tremendous. We will be introducing our friends to your fabulous music and hope to see you all perform again before too long... Shalom! (Peace to you all) Richard

Dear Antonio, My partner and I first saw you play at the Vertigo in Stoke Newington on our 1st proper date (about 8/9 years ago). We thought you were wonderful, but this was nothing compared to the pleasure of finding out that you were playing at the 'Create' event. It was so great to be able to share music we love with our children, especially as most venues are not child friendly (and certainly not suitable for a child with special needs). I wanted to express to you afterwards how much it meant, but couldn't speak due to the sheer emotion I felt. Thank you! I look forward to seeing you play again some time.

Guitarfest 2007 is on today and tomorrow over in the Cocks Moor Woods Leisure Centre. This evening featured the acoustic show, with performances from Gaz Twist (another Gaz! woohoo!), Dave Goodman, Derrin Nauendorf, Antonio Forcione, and Doyle Dykes. Each artist put on a brilliant performance showcasing his own particular style. I think my personal favourite was Antonio Forcione! he just seemed a little more ??? than the others, but that's not to say any of them weren't great!
