Multi-award winning guitarist-composer Antonio Forcione is returning at the Edinburgh Fringe with his spellbinding Solo guitar show Sketches of the world in summer 2025. Showing his creative and inspired jounra sparkled by his many journeys from Europe to the Carabean, Africa, Japan, Brazil, Brazil India, Russia, Australia experienced musically and humanly in most profound way.
Sketches of the world, is inspired by 4 decades of touring around the globe showcasing Antonio’s
compositions in evoking a joyous, spiritually beguiling, homage to a world going through immense change.

Antonio Forcione is an artist in every sense of the word, hailed as one of the most charismatic, unconventional guitarists at large in the musical world today. With a host of international awards under his belt, and 21 albums released to date this eclectic composer never ceases to stun his audience on stage, leading him to be referred to as the ‘Jimie Hendrix of the acoustic guitar”.
He breaks the mould of most conventional guitar sounds, be it in the field of jazz, Spanish, Soul, African, Brazilian or improvised music, with a ferocious virtuosity, passion and humour. He has shared the stage and recorded with some of the world’s most accomplished musicans including Charlie Haden, Angelique Kidjo, Sarah Jane Morris, Trilok Gurtu, Larry Coryell, Domenic Miller, Diego el Cigala and many more as well as supporting giants such as Phil Collins, Bobby McFerrin, Pino Daniele Zucchero, and Van Morrison amongst others.
