Overview

Originally commissioned by Naim following the AFQ's magnificent sell out tours in the UK and Europe, 'In Concert' was recorded by Martin Levan and mixed at Antonio's favourite Red Kite Studios, Wales. The album captures the performance of the band at its best. The combination of an intimate theatre, the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells.

The Quartet features:
Antonio Forcione - nylon, steel string and *fretless guitar.
Jenny Adejayan - cello
Adriano Adewale - percussion. Amongst other things, drainpipes cut to different lengths and played with flip flops.
Nathan Thompson - double bass
*The Ouddan is a Spanish guitar that Antonio had modified by guitar maker Bill Puplett, into a fretless guitar with 8 extra strings to give it a drone sound. The idea was inspired by the love Antonio has for the Oudd, an ancient Middle Eastern instrument.
